Abby is a 7-year-old King Charles Cavilier in Davenport, FL, who needs $2,000 for Tumor Removals.

We adopted Abby on October 30th last year from a rescue after a previous pet of ours passes away. We wanted to help another Senior dog have a nice family to live out the rest of the life with as we felt it is what our pet that passed would have wanted.

Abby is the sweetest girl and will let you kiss her and hold her like a baby. She plays mommy to the little Shih Tzu that we have and allows him to chew on her ears and tail and plays with him. She loves long walks and would never potty in the house. She also loves sleeping in the bed at night.

Abby always makes us smile since she is always a happy dog. She is very patient with her little Shih Tzu brother as well and tolerates his puppyness. She also is very sweet to the other two dogs as well.

When we adopted her we were told she had a huge tumor they removed and they thought they got all of it. That was in September. We noticed when we would pick her up it would hurt and we thought it was just because the huge tumor and the recovery would take time, but we could start seeing growths forming. We told the adoption place as well as our personal vet they said to wait 3 months for surgery.

Although we have 2 full time workers and a part time we struggle to make ends meet as we have a lot of previous credit card debt and one of our cars was recently totaled in a wreck caused by another driver so we had to go purchase another used car so we could get to work.
