Abel rescued us almost 3 years ago. We found him as a puppy tied to a guardrail in Georgia right before Hurricane Irma. He is the most amazing companion! He is currently a Service and Emotional Support Dog for his daddy who is battling cancer. We can't imagine life without him! He brings joy and smiles every day.

Abel is a part of our family. He is our spoiled only child! He understands everything we say to him. He is fantastic at taking baths, getting his nails trimmed, and taking his pills. He is comfort and love. He loves riding in the car, and going on road trips. His favorite place is his tennis ball in the ocean.

My husband is battling cancer. I am his caretaker and we are living on less than $800 a month. We do not have the finances to pay for Abel's treatment. He is a part of our family and we can't imagine life without our boy.

Abel had a bad cough about 2 months ago at the time was probably from chewing on a stick, he tested HIGH POSITIVE for heartworm and he has been on Doxycycline for a month and will be due for his first heartworm treatment in about a month. I'm scared because we can't afford it and I don't want to lose my boy. He is being treated at SOUTHERN PINES SPAY NEUTER CLINIC.

He is an only child. He has his own toy box, and learns to entertain himself. He will toss his own toy or ball! Abel loves milk! It's his favorite treat. He is comfort and love and brings happiness smiles and laughs every day. He loves to cuddle and be a part of our family. He is so smart...he understands everything I say to him! And as big as he is, he's afraid of thunderstorms poor baby
