Abigail is a 3-year-old Lab mix in Berlin, NH, who needs $1,900 for Pyometra.

Abigail came into our life through my mother in law with her dogs first litter. We have had our precious girl her whole life (3 years). When we were trying to pick a name we kind of let her pick her own name. We said a bunch of different names and tried to call her and when we said Abby or Abigail she would run to us and listen.

Abigail likes to sleep in bed with mom and dad. We all live with my parents and every morning she likes to go wake “grandma” up by peeking in her door and giving her kisses. She loves to go outside and play in the snow or rain. She loves to go for rides and walks. Her favorite thing to do in her free time is cuddle and play with all her toys.

Abigail’s favorite things to chew on are deer antlers, peanut butter filled bones and her toys. Her favorite toy is a stuffed pig we won at a carnival one year. She loves to give paw and bark when she doesn’t get treats. She sometimes will lay with her front paws out in front of her and keep her hind end in the air and everytime she does I laugh.

Abigail was in heat sometime last month and while she was in heat her cervix opened ups no bacteria got in causing in an infection in her reproductive system. She started acting funny 3 days ago and we could tell something was wrong we brought her to the vet and they told us that she was going to have to have surgery they said it was about 4-5k.

Abby’s surgery costed 4k and I don’t have an emergency fund or anything to help pay for her surgery. I’m now looking into anyone or any company that can help us bring my girl home where she belongs.
