Abigail is my 11th Dachshund. She was rescued 3 years ago from a backyard breeding situation in South Carolina. She is now in NY state. She came with heart worm infections missing teeth, she was a mess. And yet always happy and brought joy wherever she went. I had 3 mammary gland tumors removed when I had her spayed. The vet actually wants between $4000 and $5000 to remove these tumors. Abby needs you.

I have 2 Doxies right now. We are now in a fire financial situation. My girls mean the world to me, they keep me going. And it's not fair Abby is suffering because of money. She gave the first part of her life to being a puppy maker. She doesn't deserve this. I didn't know our finances would be depleted. We had to put a roof on our house after years of raining inside we were finally able.

I am on disability and my husband got hurt at work. He was not able to return unless he was %100 which he is not. As I mentioned the money we had went into a much needed roof on our house. I would like both of my girls to be as happy as they make me.

I need to have these tumors removed. They keep ulcerating which could lead to infection. She can barley walk. Without these tumors she could go back to being the silly girl that makes everyone happy. Her vet is Guardian Veterinary Specialists in Brewster NY. It cost me $1000 to find out Abby is benign. And they want thousands more to remove them. Abby deserves this.

I lost my 18 yr old Jessica almost 2 years ago. And I had debilitating complex grief. My girls were always there for me. They held me together. I owe them whatever they want or need. They are blessings that bring joy to our home. Abigail was used and neglected the first part of her life. She deserves to enjoy herself now. It's completely heartbreaking.
