Help Give Abraham a Fighting Chance

About this campaign

Abraham was found crying under a car, alone and only 5 weeks old. Our cattery was already full, but the moment we saw him limping toward us, yelping in pain, we knew we had to say yes.

A rushed transport to Country Willow Veterinary Hospital confirmed the worst: Abraham had a painful spiral fracture in his front leg. At his tiny size, he isn’t a candidate for surgery yet. His leg is currently splinted- his cast almost bigger than he is—and he’s on pain medication, strict rest, and regular rechecks. Even with devoted care, there is still a chance he could lose his leg.

However, with time and proper care, Abraham can still grow into a beautiful, happy life. His purrs will get louder, his snuggles longer, and his world so much safer. All this little kitten needs is love and healing.

Your generosity gives Abraham the dignity, comfort, and urgent medical treatment he deserves. This is exactly why RBARI’s Medical Fund exists—to say yes when there is pain, fear, and nowhere else to turn.

6/27/26 Update

Thank you to everyone who supported Abraham on his healing journey. He is fully healthy and recovered and has been adopted into his forever home, who has named him Bubba. He loves to make biscuits, loves his dog brother Goober, and also loves to play with his other cat sibling who is blind.
