Ace is a 2-year-old Doberman in Fresno, CA, who needs $1,000 for Toe Amputation.

Ace came into our family when we heard that a local animal shelter was shutting down and they needed to adopt all the dogs out or they would be euthanized. We knew we had to go save a life and when we got there I saw Ace and knew he was the one I wanted to rescue.

Ace has adapted well to our home and our other dog. He is a very well behaved dog and does very well with my kids. He os an absolute joy to have in our family.

Ace is a big dog and he is still young so he very much still has puppy behavior. They way he gets his ball and will toss it around himself to play but he won’t give it up for is to throw makes me laugh.

Ace was digging somewhere in our backyard we still haven’t figured out the problem yet. But he somehow caught either under the fence or somewhere sharp and he split the toe open to the bone. Unfortunately the toe cannot be saved so we have to go in for an amputation

It will mean the world to me to have my baby healthy again and able to walk. Our finances are a struggle as we have had many unfortunate expenses with cars lately which doesn’t leave us a lot of extra room for covering an unexpected vet bill.
