Ace is a 3 year old American Shorthair in Houston, TX, who needs $135 for Sick Visit.

Ace came into my life in Sept 2024 when my dad adopted him from a shelter as a birthday gift after I lost my aunt and went through a breakup. He lives indoors with my two other cats, Cinder and Tarot. Ace and Cinder are bonded and cuddle constantly. I named him after my aunt because we used to play Spades together. At home he goes by Boogie or Stinky and sleeps on me every night.

Ace has suddenly begun hiding, growling, and acting unlike himself. This behavior change has me very worried that something may be medically wrong or causing him pain. I am trying to get him seen as soon as possible at Cypress Animal Hospital.

Ace is incredibly affectionate and loves being held like a baby. He sleeps on top of me every night, follows me around the house, and is bonded with my cat Cinder who he cuddles constantly. When I first brought him home, he immediately sat in the middle of my card game with friends, like he already belonged. He brings so much comfort and joy.

I recently lost my job and left an abusive relationship, leaving me without the financial ability to afford veterinary care. Ace has been a huge emotional support during this time. Getting him healthy again would mean everything to me and help me continue moving forward.
