About this campaign

Ace came into my life in Sept 2024 when my dad adopted him from a shelter as a birthday gift after I lost my aunt and went through a bad breakup. He lives indoors with my two other cats, Cinder and Tarot. Ace and Cinder are bonded and cuddle constantly. I named him after my aunt because we used to play Spades together. At home he goes by Boogie or Stinky and sleeps with my every night.

Ace suddenly developed unusual behavior including distress, hiding, growling, and excessive grooming. He was evaluated at VEG Emergency Vet, where they stated he may be experiencing a urinary blockage or related medical issue and requires urgent diagnostic testing and treatment to avoid serious complications.

Ace is extremely friendly and loves everyone who visits my home. He gets along great with dogs and even plays with my dad’s rottweiler. Honestly, he might think he is one. When I first brought him home, he sat right in the middle of my card game with friends. He has a big personality and brings so much joy.

In July, I started my life over after leaving a domestic violence situation. I found a job shortly after, but only worked there for a month before being laid off, leaving me without the financial ability to cover emergency veterinary care.
