Ace is a 2-year-old Pitbull Mix in Huntington, WV, who needs $2,000 for Gunshot Wounds.

Animal Control received some calls that Ace was running around without any supervision. They went to his owner's house and gave them a warning, hoping they would keep Ace safe at home.

But unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. Ace found himself on the loose again, with no one looking out for him. This time, something terrible happened.

A neighbor got scared when Ace entered their yard because they thought their small dog might be in danger. Out of fear, they shot poor Ace not once but twice!

He was unfortunately shot in the front leg and back thigh, causing him immense pain. Now, he urgently requires X-rays to assess the extent of his injuries and any potential broken bones or internal damage.

While the neighbor had every right to protect their property, it is truly disheartening that Ace has to endure this agony because his owner allowed him to roam freely despite clear instructions not to do so.
