So, I got Acey when I was 20 years old, and he's been in my life for these past 8 years. And he's been an absolute joy, and he's helped me through so much, and been there for me, and moved in every new apartment with me, and really, truly grew up with me through my adulthood. I have two other cats in the household, and they love him so much. He is their big brother!

So, his current situation is that, we noticed that he hasn't been urinating completely. It was starting as a small stream and then slowly became just a drip. And upon taking him to the vet, they said that he would need to undergo some surgeries and potential x-rays to figure out what's really wrong with him. Acey is special in so many ways. He has so much character, he's so independent, but also the biggest baby you'll ever meet. He does this thing where he'll bark at you, but that's only because he wants to come off as defensive. Soon as he lets his guard down, he wants to be all up in your lap. We like to warn our friends and family when they come over that he likes to make out.

I just started a new job that will help me be in a better financial situation, but I have no emergency funds saved up, and this was very unexpected, and on top of everything else, this clearly was not in the cards, and I just would love for him to be back to his self again.
