We rescued Adler from a man willing to drop a mix of puppies off on the highway if he did not get paid for them. They ranged from, best guess, of 1mo to 5mo old. Adler was 2 months. My friend and I worked to get the rest rehomed with good families. About 6mo ago, Adler sipped a disk and we are still trying to recover from the care that is ongoing.

Adler managed to tear his knee- the equivalent to an ACL tear in humans. Mid 2024, he managed to slip a disk after our neighbors dog attacked him. He required sutures and staples. The care to make sure it does not slip again is still ongoing. We need help to get his knee taken care of now. He goes to All Animals Vet Hospital where they confirmed his tear.

Adler is the laziest dog I have ever met, despite him being a mix of Blue Heeler and GSP. The two high energy breeds cancelled each other out, we like to joke. He loves to watch movies and go for walks. He plays with his brother and cuddling is required more often than his love for treats. He is a protector to me and I cannot imagine a world without him.
