Adonis is a 10 month old Boxer in Bohemia , NY, who needs $2,000 for Pneumonia Treatment.

We brought Adonis home on August 15th, 2023 when he was 2 months old. He was the most perfect puppy, and we knew he was going to be the best fit for our house. We named him Adonis from the boxing movie Rocky, Which we thought was a cute pun on his breed.

Adonis’s first got sick with just a simple upper respiratory infection And put on antibiotics. However, six days later his condition drastically declined. We ended up having to bring him to 3 veterinary emergency rooms, until finally the third one, VMCLI, was able to treat him where he was admitted into intensive care unit in Isolation.

We love our playful, energetic boy. He is the most loving puppy who always wants to play and be by your side. He also loves animals as he is very good with other dogs. Even the bunnies and the birds in our yard to try and play with.

This Sudden unexpected illness was a financial shock. I had insurance for Adonis, however that wasn’t even close to covering the cost of these veterinary expenses. Adonis will need continuing treatment for the foreseeable future until he is fully recovered.
