We rescued Aela from a local PetSmart (via the Rescue Network). She has been with us for about a month. We have no other pets in our home, so we are able to focus all of our attention on love on her. We have 2 kids (6yo & 3yo) and Aela gets on great with them.

Aela unfortunately broke the femur bone on her rear left leg. She was originally seen at Banfield in Burnsville however their quote was $7500-$10000. We have taken her to Mission Animal Hospital instead and they have given us an estimate of $3019.49

Aela is an unbelievably sweet kitten. She purrs so much and is certainly a people person. She always makes us all laugh with her crazy zoomies. She absolutely loves to chase a laser pointer or her favorite koi fish on a string. The first night we brought her home she just kept continuingly purr and rubbing up against us, my wife believes that she was thanking us for rescuing her.

We are a paycheck to paycheck family. I work a full time job of 40 hours as my wife watches the kids and when I get home my wife goes to work and works around 20 hours a week. We cannot afford this surgery at all and help would be immensely helpful!
