About this campaign
Agnes, a tiny Frenchie with big, soulful eyes, was found in heartbreaking condition and brought to safety by Pooch Savers Rescue. She had clearly been neglected for some time—her skin was raw, her body was frail, and she had been left to suffer without the care she so desperately needed. Despite it all, Agnes remained gentle and trusting, as if she knew help had finally arrived.
Agnes was diagnosed with Demodex mange, a painful skin condition caused by mites. She also tested positive for Coccidia and Giardia, intestinal parasites that can be dangerous in dogs as weak as she was. Most urgently, Agnes had suffered a prolapsed rectum, which required immediate surgery to relieve her pain and prevent further complications. Thankfully, the surgery went well and she continues to show signs of improvement!
Even with all she’s been through, Agnes remains a sweetheart. She greets every caregiver with soft eyes and a hopeful heart. She leans into gentle touches and wags her little tail when spoken to kindly. Agnes is ready to heal, not just physically but emotionally. All she needs now is time, treatment, and the support of people who believe every dog deserves a chance.
Pooch Savers is a nonprofit organization that relies on donations to help dogs like Agnes. Please consider donating to help. Any amount will make a meaningful difference in helping this sweet girl get the care she deserves and move one step closer to a healthy, happy life.
