Ahchoo is a 7-year-old Calico Cat in Gatineau, QC, who needs $1,200 for Cystotomy.

She came to us after being given up on in 5 other homes. We have had her two years and he allergies were so bad we called her Ahchoo from all her sneezing. We have never had a pet in the home and she has become such a figure in our lives. She lives in a nice bungalow and loves the windows. Not sure why others have her up but we just can’t.

She doesn’t like lots of people but warms up to you in time. Was never a human person but we can’t get her off our laps now. She loves to show her belly and lays in the strangest ways. She is VERY talkative and not very good at hunting although begs to go out all the time. She seems to want to be friends with those that don’t like cats. Even though she shows her tummy don’t touch it!

Ahchoo is full of idiosyncrasies. She talks to you like a human very vocal, lays in the strangest positions and forgets to put her tongue back in her mouth. She is gorgeous and knows it. She is the loudest purring machine ever and people always hear her on the phone purring no matter where I am talking from.

Algonquin Animal hospital in Ottawa is treating her. She has developed calcium stones in her bladder and pees blood. She howls when she goes to the bathroom and desperately tries to help herself by eating grass. Which doesn’t help. She has been poked and prodded by many people is on medication for an infection that won’t go away until her stones are removed.

We have spent 3000 so far treating her between medications and vet visits to two X-rays and countless Urinary tract infections. We bought her the best food in hopes to dissolve the stones but we just got the news she needs the surgery. We only have 1200 left in our budget.
