Aimee arrived unexpectedly on Aug 12, 2022, adding joy to our lives in our three-story rental with a spacious backyard. She joins her three siblings:Terzah, a 15-year-old Boxer Rottweiler mix;Leala, a 3.5-year-old Rottweiler;and Zac, the supervisor. Aimee,an American Pocket Bully, recently underwent spaying with remarkable resilience, boasting a vibrant personality. She love to make cardboard art.

Aimee's arrival invigorated Leala, rejuvenating their playfulness. Despite being unexpected, her presence is cherished, forging deep bonds within our family. Terzah and Zac oversee their antics, completing our household dynamic. Aimee's unique traits and affectionate nature have woven her into the fabric of our home, making imagining life without her unfathomable.

Observing Aimee's reluctance to move and subsequent weakening in her hind legs during play, raised concerns. After a veterinary examination by Dr.Trimble at Okanagan Veterinary Hospital, revealed no spinal issues but highlighted significant injury to her left hind leg, necessitating surgery to stabilize her knee. This diagnosis, though heartbreaking, provided clarity amidst uncertainty.

Amidst Aimee's medical crisis, financial strain grips us. My husband's work injury and upcoming surgeries drain our savings. Despite my job at minimum wage job at Costco, expenses soar with pet surgeries. We hold onto hope, grateful for any help in this turbulent time.
