Akaza is a 3-year-old Mixed Breed Cat in Colorado Springs, CO, who needs $600 for Foreign Body Surgery.

We really don't know much about his background. We got him from a lady in Colorado. Now he's stays indoor only. We do not let him go outside at all even though where we live is pretty safe. We just want him to be okay, you know? We only have had for 3 weeks and we just already love him so much. He means the world to us

He had to get used to our home at first, but now he's so contant. We got him some toys for him to play with and my daughters absolutely loves playing with him and taking care of him. They think his so funny lol. With me he's a cuddle bug always wants to lay on my lap or on my chest. He even sleeps in bed with my husband and I.

He's just a spazz. He has a short tail just like a Bob cat, so we don't really know what breed he is. He wails his little tail like a puppy and that makes us giggle cause I mean, we never have seen anything like that, but that's what makes him unique. Also, what makes us laugh is how he plays with our 3 year cat.

We took him to Planned Pethood International Saturday due to him not wanting to eat and throwing up. Turned out that he had to have emergency surgery. He got into one of my daughters toys and ended up swallowing it and it got stuck in one of his intestines. He did great through the surgery and is still be hospitalized.

My husband fights for this country. You would think the military pays well, but it doesnt. We're set on a fixed budget. He doesn't get paid that much. So, we're trying to figure out a way to pay for Akaza's surgery.
