Akeela was the runt of her litter and was gifted to me when she was only 2 months old and i was at a very low point in my life. I can say now, that had it not been for her I may not be alive today. She gave me a new sense of purpose, and she hasn't left my side since. We've been through some tough times together, and she's who I have to thank for getting me through them.

Akeela has been diagnosed with what the vet called the triple threat. She has hip dysplasia, patella luxation in both knees and needs her CCL repaired so she can move around without pain or limits that no dog should have to live with

Akeela touches the heart of every vet we've seen. Her glossy black eyes seem to pierce straight through to the softest part of your heart. She loves tug of war, and used to love playing fetch for hours. Akeela doesn't require much. She loves to cuddle and hates to be left behind. She always up for a walk no matter how long or how short. Closest way to her heart is a crunchy snack.

Akeela deserves to enjoy her life to the fullest. Seeing her run as fast as she wants without hesitation or jump as high as she can without second guessing herself would put that spark back in her eye thats been missing for some time.
