Akeilles is a 10 year old Chihuahua in Jamaica, NY, who needs $2,000 for IV Drip & Diabetes Insulin.

I got Akeilles when I was 18 and I’m currently going to be 30. I saw him in a puppy store and just couldnt resist taking him home. Since then he has been spoiled with love by everyone that comes into contact with him. He has been with me when I got diagnosed with MS at 22 and has struggled by my side.

Akeilles was diagnosed with Diabetes on Halloween day. He is currently struggling with stabling his diabetes and also is suffering from a slight heart murmur . He also needs dental cleaning as he has plaque build up.

Akeilles isnt just a dog in our family , he’ operates just like a person. He knows when I’m sad or sick , he will come up and comfort me or just stand next to me until he knows I’m better. He cries when I come home because you can tell how happy he is to see me back as if I was gone for years. He’ greets everyone that comes to the door and my home just wouldnt be a livable place without him there.

I’m currently working all that I can unfortunately it isnt enough to cover my own living situations and sustain expensive vet bills. Akeilles has been in out and of the vet every 2 weeks for 2 months now on top being fed home made food to help try to stabilize his sugar
