In 2020, I saw a neighbor walking the most adorable Pitbull puppy and couldn't resist asking if there were any others available. I ended up adopting him for $80 after he was rehomed for being too big and rambunctious. It was love at first sight, and he has been happily living with my boyfriend and me ever since.
