We were lonely empty nesters. We can’t have anymore children so we decided to get Alana. It was love at first site! We got her at 3 months old. She is a maltipoo. Sweet baby of ours.

Alana is our precious 7-month-old matipoo puppy and the first dog our family has ever had. She has brought so much joy and love into our lives, and we can't imagine our home without her. Recently, Alana suffered a terrible accident—she fell from our second floor window ledge, breaking her front leg and injuring her head. She was in a lot of pain, and it was heartbreaking to see her suffer.

She is the most loving dog ever. She waits for us at the door when we arrive. She sleeps with us on the bed. And is with us on the sofas as well. We would take her out for walks and everywhere with us.

We didn’t realize how expensive pets can be. It was an honest mistake and frankly we can’t afford her leg surgery. She has a displaced distal radius and left ulna. She is a strong dog. She currently has a splint but that’s just a temporary solution. It’s a $5k to $6k surgery
