Albus is a 5 year old Bernese Mountain Dog in Kamas, UT, who needs $2,000 for Chemotherapy.

In December of 2018, Riley proposed to me with our beloved dog, Albus. He has brought us a lot of joy throughout his 5 1/2 short years of life. He's a happy, playful dog who loves the snow. and log walks. We are currently living with family to continue to save money and we've recently bought 2 acres of property that we plan to build a forever home on someday.

We initially took him to see the vet because he was exhibiting abnormal eating patterns and was drinking a ton of water. Doctors recently discovered a mass in his chest that shows all the classic signs of lymphoma. They tried to extract a sample but were unable to confirm cancer. They started treatment with L-Spar and prednisone and we'll know more soon. MedVet Hospital in Sandy, Utah.

He loves anything to do with the snow. We call him a "people dog" because he prefers socializing with other people than with other dogs. He hates the water and sinks like a rock every time we've tried to teach him to swim.

Although he's 115 pounds, he thinks he's a lap dog and loves to cuddle with everyone. He doesn't like fetch and his favorite toy is a stuffed Bernese mountain dog.

My husband is a firefighter and I am a copywriter. We are living with family to save for our forever home, going as far as to live in my mother-in-law's garage for over a year. We are also struggling with infertility which has been expensive and heartbreaking.
