I am a single dad of two kids. We were walking around the outside mall one night and came across a man walking some German Shepherd puppies. Of course we stopped to talk to him because the kids had been asking for a dog. He told us that he was selling them, so after the kids hounding me and hounding me, I called the guy and told him that I was interested in purchasing a puppy.

Aldo loves to play fetch with the kids. He loves being scratched and rubbed. He is very protective of his family and always keeps and ear and and eye out for danger. I was in the Army and have severe hearing loss, and was going to have Aldo trained to be my service dog. My son suffers from PTSD, RAD, IED, as well as other mental illnesses. Aldo was to assist both myself and my son.

I am on a fixed income, trying to raise 2 kids. I work full time and try to pick up as much OT as permitted. I am on medication and my son takes 12 pills per day. I don't want Aldo to suffer, but I don't have the money it costs per month to pay for his medication, either.

Recently Aldo was given an allergy test which revealed that he was allergic to storage and dust mites. Immediately, he was switch to a grain free dog food, in order to cut down on the mites, but he itches constantly. He has itched so badly, that the skin around his legs is pink with blood spots. He has also chewed spots on both his sides down to the meat. Its never ending for him.

Aldo loves to play in the snow, digging and searching for ice. He loves to run outside with the kids, catching and returning the football, baseball, etc. He also loves to play with his light up, talking ball, which he will dig out of his toy box and give it to you to throw. He loves chasing squirrels up trees also. He likes to talk back, too, but we are working on that.
