Alexandria Leigh aka Alex was born to my Siamese Ragdoll named Sadie after a night prowling the town. She was born on July 10, 2014 and named after a dear friend who had recently passed in April of that year. She was all white with two big black spots on her head. She’s a sweet girl who has thrived until the past year.

Symptoms began as drooling and mouth sores. Vet prescribed antibiotics and steroids. It helped alittle but has gotten worse. She was diagnosed with stomatitis. Her vet recommended removal of 5 or more teeth because of the extreme inflammation and swelling. She has lost weight and constantly drools, it causes dark stains on her fur bc she can’t properly clean herself. I can’t imagine her pain.

Alex is the sweetest girl, she’s very vocal and purrs constantly, even through the intense pain this must cause. To be honest, if you saw her you would think she’s homeless. We have to bathe her so often due to the buildup of dark discharge from her mouth.

I’m a disabled vet who gets disability but with two kids, a mortgage and two other special needs pets, money goes quickly. I’ve tried making crafts and selling house items to fund her surgery for a better quality of life. Many people are just as pressed as we are to get by.
