About this campaign
Meet Alexandria, a tiny and incredibly sweet cat who somehow found her way back to the shelter that once helped her. Alexandria was recently found outside struggling to survive on her own. Thankfully, when she was scanned for a microchip, it led directly back to our shelter. We do not know how long she had been outside or what happened with her original adopter, but one thing is certain — she is finally safe again.
When Alexandria returned to us, we were immediately concerned by how petite and fragile she looked. In fact, she is so tiny that many people mistake her for a kitten. Wanting to ensure she was healthy after whatever she endured outdoors, we performed a full blood panel to make sure her organs and overall health were functioning properly.
It quickly became clear that Alexandria had been living with severe dental disease and significant oral pain. She recently underwent a much-needed dental procedure where veterinarians had to remove seven painful teeth to finally give her relief. Dental disease can make it difficult for cats to eat, groom, and comfortably live day to day, and poor Alexandria had likely been suffering silently for quite some time.
Despite everything she has been through — abandonment, life on the streets, and painful medical issues — Alexandria remains gentle, loving, and trusting. She deserves the chance to recover safely, comfortably, and surrounded by people who care about her wellbeing. Now we need your help to continue giving Alexandria the care she deserves.
Please consider making a donation to help cover Alexandria’s bloodwork, dental surgery, tooth extractions, medications, and ongoing recovery care. Every contribution helps ensure this tiny survivor gets the second chance she deserves.
If you cannot donate, sharing Alexandria’s story can help us reach more compassionate supporters. Thank you for helping Alexandria leave pain and uncertainty behind and move toward a future filled with safety, comfort, and love.
7/15/26 Update
We are so excited to share the wonderful news that Alexandria's journey has come full circle.
Alexandria was able to receive the dental care she so desperately needed. During her procedure, veterinarians removed seven painful teeth, finally freeing her from the chronic discomfort she had likely been living with for far too long. She recovered beautifully from her surgery and quickly showed everyone just how happy and affectionate she truly is once she was no longer in pain.
The best news of all? Alexandria has found her forever home!
After everything she endured—from being found struggling outside and making her way back to our shelter, to overcoming severe dental disease and recovering from surgery—this tiny sweetheart now has the loving family she always deserved. She no longer has to worry about where her next meal will come from or whether she'll be safe. Instead, she gets to spend her days surrounded by love, comfort, and the security of a place to call home.
From all of us, and from sweet Alexandria, thank you for believing that every animal deserves another chance. Because of your support, this little survivor's story now has the happy ending she always deserved.
