About this campaign

I adopted my sweet Alfie in December 2019 from Spay the Strays. He was found by the adoption agency wandering the Gaylord Palms hotel grounds. From the minute I saw him I fell in love. He is the sweetest cat. Everyone who meets him loves him immediately! We are a single pet household. He is an indoor only cat

Alfie loves to play. He has a ton of toys. His favorites are his stuffed fishy, ping pong and golf balls, and Da Bird. He loves to sit on the windowsill and watch the birds outside. He “talks” to them. He sleeps in bed with us at. Iggy. He loves to cuddle and can be a lap cat even though he’s also active. He will let you hold his paw like you’re holding hands. He gives kisses too

Like almost everyone else, we’ve faced financial challenges from the Covid 19 pandemic. Alfies treatment is going to cost $6000 due to the high expense of the Mutian medication. We need help with funding for his meds. Our vet bills have been about $600 so far

Alfie was diagnosed with the dry form of feline FIP. He stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. He had a very high fever. He just laid in the closet and wouldn’t move. He was so unhappy and depressed. We tried antibiotics but they didn’t work and he kept declining. His vet is Dr Monica Mayol-Sabatier at Deltona Animal Medical Center. The meds he needs are very expensive but they work

Alfie is a lover. He’s one of those special cats who is always happy and never mean. He acts like a kitten. He loves to play. He follows me around the house everywhere I go all the time. When I was sick in bed he stayed with me the whole time. He likes to bat golf balls around on the tile floor and we say “there goes Alfie playing golf again!”
