About this campaign

Alfie was almost out of time when Bark About It Rescue stepped in to save him. After being rescued from the euthanasia list, he went for a standard health certificate appointment to be transported to Pennsylvania when they discovered he would need femoral head ostectomy, or FHO, surgery.

This is a procedure Alfie needed to repair his hip. Even though this was an unexpected cost to the rescue, they covered the $1,900 cost without hesitation to ensure he got the care he desperately needed. Alfie has since had the surgery, and he is doing great in recovery.

Even though this pup has been through so much, the rescue says he has remained the sweetest, most loving boy. He's well-behaved, adores snuggling, and potentially has a family waiting to adopt him once he has made a full recovery. However, the rescue is still strained by the high cost of the surgery.

Your donation, big or small, will go toward covering Alfie’s surgery and recovery, making sure he gets the happy ending he so deserves. Can you please support Bark About It rescue in their efforts to help Alfie heal? Thank you! 🐶❤️
