Alicia is an 11-year-old Border Collie Mix in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, who needs $2,000 for radiation therapy.

Alicia was only 10 weeks old when we adopted her and she became a part of our family. She looked so innocent in her pictures with cute little "puppy eyes" we fell in love with. When we picked her up she was this rambunctious little pup pouncing on all her siblings while bitting on their ears and grabbing their tails. At home, Alicia is the only animal which makes her the center of our world.

Alicia enjoys going on walks, chasing ducks, squirrels, kitties, and playing with her cousin Nina. She LOVES McDoubles, running in the woods, going on car rides and each of her family members. Her favorite place to sleep is in her mommy and daddy's bed, on top of the pillows of course. She plays fetch, loves tug-o-war and can do many tricks including saying " I Love You!"

Alicia loves to play with her cousin Nina in aunt Christina's yard. Her best friend is Nike who comes over to play often. Alicia does not like the dog park but enjoys the dog beach. At the beach she would rather say hello to people than play and make friends. She is so gentile with children and has been protective of her human nieces since she met them.

In early April Alicia started showing symptoms of nasal cancer and was given a life expectancy of 6-9 months. Alicia was diagnosed with Nasal Adenocarcinoma which is a nasal tumor that is invading her sinus cavity and pressing against her brain. Looking at her you would see a happy, energetic pup who is loving life. Other than the tumor she is extremely healthy. Radiation therapy is recomended.

Radiation therapy is recommended by Dr. Lyons with the Animal Cancer Care Clinic. With treatment Alicia could gain up to 2 more years with us. Over the last few months we have had unexpected financial troubles leaving us together ask for your help.
