Alien is a 3-year-old American Shorthair Cat in SAN ANTONIO, TX, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy Surgery.

Alien is 3 years old, he was a rescue cat we found living outside in San Antonio Texas. He was living with a group of people who were unhoused, and were being forced to vacate their camp. My husband Anthony saw him and called me and told me he had found a little cat that needed love, I then told him to bring the cat home. Since then he has become a very special part of our little family.

He has a huge personality, he loves his mom and his brother Batman, our Bombay cat. He likes to hang out with his dad. but he is his mom's best friend. He follows me everywhere I go and has learned how to open the doors in our apartment in order to follow me around. He is sweet and funny and SOO very smart. But he also doesn't take any crap from anyone.

He likes to play with his lattice balls and chase the laser pointer, he is a sucker for some treats, we call them "Alien treats". He's very smart so he to be entertained constantly or he gets mischievous, he will open the cupboards and sit in them, he likes to sit right in the middle of what your doing and wont move at all. He's a character, for sure, and he keeps us entertained.

Alien has problem and he gets crystals in his urine which causes him pain to use the potty. He has had to be put on a special urinary diet, recently he was blocked from peeing and his bladder was dangerously full and he was close to having kidney failure and very close to death. We took him to the emergency vet and were only able to have his bladder drained and he was sent home with meds.

We have a small at home business, and its hard to keep up with normal expenses, we cannot afford to pay for his special food and cannot afford to get him further testing or a surgery that he needs to help him be able to pee.
