About this campaign

I fell in love with Allera when I first saw her sweet little face in a picture. I felt an instant connection to those beautiful, lively brown eyes. She's still lively and young at heart. She loves to play and run outside. At night, she curls up close and cuddles. She's been my close companion for 12 years and it's so hard to see her suffering because I don't have the money to help her.

Allera is basically the family mascot. We all can relate to her weather she's being sassy, as she frequently is, or being mysteriously aloof. She's an independent sweetheart. When my daughter was sick and bedridden for weeks; Allera spent her time sitting on my daughter's bed and keeping her company, day and night. Now, she let's my granddaughter pet her and she's very gentle with her.

Allera has such a big personality. When she recognizes someone she hasn't seen in a while, she goes crazy and starts running in circles and barking for joy. She makes people laugh.

Allera has three broken metatarsal in her left hind foot. This happened two weeks ago and her foot needs to be set and rewrapped weekly for two months according to Dr. Su at Sunstone Veterinary Specialists. Allera has had antibiotics and pain management but desperately needs to have her foot set and splinted.

I am a disabled veteran and live on a fixed income. Recently my daughter and granddaughter moved in with me and funds are stretched tight. It would absolutely mean the world to me to be able to help my sweet companion heal and be healthy again. Thank you
