About this campaign
In 2012 we Alley and her brother (Jacks) from a rescue. At the time of inquiry, Jacks and Alley were on home visit with another family. After a couple of days the family decided they were not a good fit and would be returning to the rescue group. I received information the Jacks and Alley would be at an event that Saturday and if I was still interested to get there early.
Alley is 'boss dog' and runs the household. She has her own bed, but prefers to sleep at mom's feet. My mother, who is elderly, spoils Alley with extra treats. Alley is never left at the house alone and travels everywhere we go. Alley also misses her brother Jacks who passed away March 15, 2022.
When Alley wants a snack, she will tap on my mom's knee to let her know it's time...on time, every time. As you can see in the video Alley loves to sit right under the AC in the car and let her hair blow. She also enjoy peeking through the fence to watch the neighbor's cat and children play in the yard.
Alley is current at MedVet Diley Hill receiving the best care possible; however, thing changed overnight with her heart and she will need additional diagnosis at larger MedVet hospital in Worthington, Ohio. She is also retaining fluid under the skin instead of releasing it as normal and will not eat.
I have used all my resources to get Alley through her current stay, but unable to continue additional treatment. I would hate to put her to sleep if this is something that can be treated with medicine .
