Alpha is a 10 month old Border Collie in Tonawana, NY, who needs $500 for CT Scan.

He is now ten months old. When he was almost three months old, I took him from the shelter. I don't know about his life before that, I only know that he and his siblings lived in the shelter.

When he was about 3 months and half old, I noticed he was having trouble and pain in his left leg. I informed the vet at the time, but they didn't find anything. Last week, I took him back to the vet, and after an X-ray, they diagnosed him with elbow dysplasia. They said he needs further treatment like a CT scan, medication, and possibly surgery. My dear Alpha is really exceptional and intelligent, he is very smart and strong, he understands our feelings, he is very kind and loving, he loves sports, running and ball, even now even though his hand hurts... he is an angel, a wonderful creature from another world.

The cost of treatment and even the diagnosis of alpha disease is heavy for me. Last week, the radiology was very expensive, but the CT scan and other procedures cost more for me.
