Alvin is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in San Jose, CA, who needs $1,308 for Abscess Drain, Debridement, IV Treatment, Home Meds.

Alvin came to our neighborhood 6 years ago. I trapped him and is able to get him into the TNR program in our community. My neighbor and I feed him. I setup a home for him in our backyard to keep him safe from the elements. I tried for years to bring him indoors, but he just doesn't want to be indoors.

On 11/27/24, I noticed he was limping & his leg was swollen. I finally trapped him & brought him to Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG). Vet said he had an abcess fr possible cat/animal bite. He needed wound drained & debrided, IV antibiotics, anti-inflammatory medications, & home medications. I applied for care credit as they won't treat unless I pay.

He is such a sweet boy and in my heart, I couldn't just not do anything and let him suffer. He's like family as I always see him everyday, interact, and feed him.

I'm requesting for financial assistance to help pay for Alvin's vet bill as life is hard right now. I'm going through family problems while still trying to be a neighborhood guardian for community cats. I'm hoping & praying for your kind hearts for help. Thank you.
