Amaya is a 4-month-old DSH Kitten in Aledo , TX, who needs $1,654 for Treatment and Surgery on Left Back Leg Fracture.

Amaya was found as a stray with a displaced fracture across the growth plate of her left back leg. At just four months old, this adorable kitten was set for euthanasia at the shelter due to her injury. Saving Hope Animal Rescue brought her into their care the moment they heard about her case. She is now loved and cared for and is getting the medical attention she deserves.

Amaya has such a charming little personality. She is friendly to everybody she meets, greeting them with the loudest purr. Despite being in such pain, she hobbles up to everybody and rolls around wanting all the pets. She loves the spotlight!

She has huge paws for a kitten her age, giving her the nickname "Big Paws" around the vet. They joke that she is part bobcat since she is such a stout little thing.

Amaya is currently at Family Pet Care in Fort Worth, TX. She is seeing an orthopedic surgeon who will be putting a pin in Amaya's leg to save it. Otherwise, she would need amputation.
