About this campaign

Amelia is a pet shelter Death Row Rescue. I got her right after Thanksgiving 2018. My mom had died 5/23/18 ,and Amelia is my maternal grandmother’s name (I didn’t name my cat Amelia, she was already named that), so I wondered if that was a sign from Mom. After losing my mom, my job, my ability to work, my Aunt, and much more she’s all I’ve got left. She’s not even two years old yet. I know most people would say just put her to sleep, but she gave me her unconditional love and trust, and I just can’t conceive of betraying them by throwing away her life like it was a worthless piece of garbage, when it could have been saved. It would be different if she had a terminal illness and was suffering, of course, but she can be saved. It’s just at the point of surgery or death.
