About this campaign
Amelia’s journey began on the streets of Harrisburg, PA, where a Good Samaritan found her in a heartbreaking condition. This poor girl was covered in fleas, with pus oozing from her eyes and nose, and so weak she couldn’t even stand. Amelia was rushed to safety and diagnosed with a severe upper respiratory infection (URI).
At first, things seemed to improve, but just as hope began to grow, her condition took a devastating turn for the worse. Amelia is now admitted to Shores Veterinary Hospital, battling severe anemia and receiving critical care that may require a blood transfusion. Her current treatment includes IV antibiotics, fluids, and round-the-clock care from dedicated professionals.
Veterinarians are exploring the possibility that she may be positive for FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), a diagnosis that would require costly treatment ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Combined with her current care, her medical expenses are estimated to exceed $8,000. Amelia deserves a chance to recover, heal, and experience the love and warmth of safety and a forever home.
Your donation could be the difference between life and death for Amelia. Please consider contributing to her care today. Every dollar counts, and together, we can give her the second chance she so desperately needs.
Thank you for helping us fight for Amelia’s life.
