The little angel starving in a Miami warehouse is now in our care at The Pittie Party of Central Florida. Amelia received immediate veterinary care. This poor senior has seen rough times.

She was adopted to an individual from Miami Dade Animal Services with advanced heartworm. The shelter wasn’t able to fix her because of it. Since leaving the shelter, she was never treated and had more litters of puppies. She has a giant, painful mammary tumor that needs to be removed.

The owner has allowed this thing to become gigantic. We can’t do anything until her heart is stable. She is a senior girl which complicates everything. She was full of intestinal parasites but is now receiving treatment. Her anemia will get better over time.

We are committed to helping her through all the medical care she requires. It will be very expensive, but we will do whatever we can to fundraise all she needs. She will never experience the suffering she’s known for so long. Amelia has an adorable, lovable spirit. She’s a tiny girl full of so much hope.
