About this campaign
Hi, we are new to this site and are reaching out for help with our sweet cat, Amy.
Amy is just 1 year old and will turn 2 next month. She is positive for feline leukemia and is currently hospitalized in diabetic ketoacidosis, receiving level 3 critical care at an animal hospital more than an hour from our home each way.
In just a few short days, her medical care has already placed us over $11,000 in debt. We are seeking assistance with her veterinary bills so we can continue giving her the care she desperately needs.
We fostered Amy for the past year and very recently adopted her, along with four other cats who are also feline leukemia positive. We knew adopting them would dramatically impact our lives—emotionally and financially—but diabetes was not something we had on our 2025 bingo card.
Before Amy came to us, everyone had given up on her. She arrived with her mom, her sister, and two other cats, all feline leukemia positive. From the beginning, we promised her a chance—a real one.
The fight is only beginning. Once Amy is able to come home, she will be a diabetic cat requiring insulin and a specialized diet for the rest of her life. Despite the challenges ahead, we want to continue fighting for her.
If you are able to help in any way, we would be deeply grateful. Your support allows us to give Amy the fighting chance she deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
God bless you.
