About this campaign
Amy has spent her 11 years on this earth being nothing but gentle, loving, and loyal — the kind of dog that melts your heart with a single look. She’s not just a rescue; she’s family to those who’ve cared for her, especially the team at D&A Animal Rescue, who gave her a second chance when she needed it most.
But now Amy needs another miracle.
D&A recently noticed something terrifying — a mass growing in Amy’s belly. Concern turned into urgency as specialists performed ultrasounds and ran tests. The latest results brought hard news: the mass is on her spleen. It’s growing fast, and it’s making Amy uncomfortable. Time is not on her side.
The first step is a major surgery to remove her spleen. Then the mass will be sent to pathology to determine if it's benign. If the mass turns out to be non-cancerous, she’ll face a second surgery to remove any remainder of the tumor.
D&A Animal Rescue is doing everything in their power to give Amy the best chance at healing, but the costs of surgery, pathology, aftercare, and ongoing medical support are a hefty $4,000. Please consider donating today and helping give Amy the fighting chance she deserves.
