After 1.5 years of homelessness, I promised my kids a cat once we settled. We traveled far to find our 6-month-old black cat, and he’s the smartest boy I’ve ever known. Andi fits our family perfectly and is officially my kids' best friend. Our new home finally feels complete with him here—he’s the heart of our fresh start.

Two weeks ago, he was hit. He crawled home with a broken leg and fractured pelvis. At urgent care, I could only afford pain meds and was denied credit for surgery. We were told he will become apart of "tripod community" He’s our best friend; we are praying to afford this life-saving amputation. Please help us keep our family whole—he fought so hard to crawl back to us.

Andi is awesome. He never fails to accompany us to the restroom and loves hiding under the bed to swipe at unknowing feet. He even has a special diet—no regular cat food, just his favorite Tilapia!
