Andy is a 8-year-old Mix in Sebastian, FL, who needs $2,000 for Thyroid Tumor Removal.

We adopted Andy from the Humane Society in November of 2016. We fell for his spunky personality and underbite right away. Andy was our only child until our daughter came along shortly after he turned one, he settled into the big brother role like a champ.

Since adopting Andy he has gained four new best friends, our Daughter whose first word was “A-ee”, our newborn, our resident cat and his black and white twin Charley, and our puppy, Miles. Andy is our smart, sweet, and one-of-a-kind doggy that we couldn’t live without!

Andy is known for his cute underbite that allows his tongue to hang out. He is a well mannered pup that wants to please. He is quick to let us know when his younger canine brother is misbehaving, showing that he himself is a perfect angel. He protects his human sister from and rough play by barking and jumping on her playmate. He is an important part to our little family,

We noticed a lump on Andy’s next a week ago and got him to to the vet ASAP. The vet took a sample and confirmed the unthinkable, a Thyroid Tumor. Since diagnosis, Andy has had an ultrasound and imaging that gave us the good news that it hasn’t spread. We have been referred to Veterinary Specialty Center to remove the tumor.

Both of Andy’s parents work in the schools. We just had a baby two month ago putting one of Andy’s mom temporarily out of work on maternity leave. We don’t have an option but to give Andy a chance and have the tumor removed, he is so important to our family,
