Saving Hope Animal Rescue

Angel is yet another tragic story of backyard breeding. She was being used as a way to make money, treated inhumanely time and time again. On day five of having deceased puppies inside of her, she was dumped. She was actively dying, and the owner did not care enough to tend to her. Fortunately, Saving Hope Animal Rescue stepped in to help.

Poor Angel was in a life-threatening state by the time she was in the rescue's care. Her uterus had ruptured, warranting life-saving emergency surgery. Thankfully, the surgery went well and she survived. Before the surgery, she weighed 26.7 lbs and after just 19.4 lbs. She should never have been in this situation.

During her surgery, the vets found evidence that she had a previous c-section and obviously was bred again despite the risks. The owners did not take her for another c-section, which resulted in the life-threatening incident.
