Let’s Turn Things Around for Angel

Angel is a sweet kitty who has gotten the short end of the stick over the last 11 years. Kitty Kisses of Reno Cat Rescue had rescued her from a hoarding situation in Hawaii not long ago. When we found her she was emaciated, covered in fleas, scarred from scratching and poor hygiene, and arthritic. She also had severe gingivitis and will need multiple tooth extractions. All of these were signs of sheer neglect.

Just when we thought we had her full list of work she needed done, we took her back to the vet where we discovered she would also need a spay surgery and she has an advanced heart murmur. Before we can move forward with her spay and dental work, Angel will need an EKG to assess her heart. Her vet bills are already estimating at least a $2500 cost.

Because most of this work came to us as a surprise, we need your help. Kitty Kisses will never turn down a cat who needs our help, but we were far too unprepared for the state she’s in. We value transparency and want to share the details of the cats that come into us. Angel has been failed before, and it’s now our responsibility to never fail her again.
