Angel is a 11-year-old Chihuahua Mix in Westminster, CA, who needs $2,000 for Thoracocentesis/Chest Tap.

Angel is a loyal and dependent life companion. She always waits for me to come home. There were a few months she and her littermate went missing, she alone found a way back home by the sound of my mom's car. When mom got her home, she jumped in my bed, and started kissing me all of the sudden.

Angel currently stays with us in our bedroom but we plan to move her into a larger area.

Angel loves my dad, she would always run to him and start yelling as excitement. when she meets new people, she's very timid but will get used to you eventually. Angel always loves to sleep and is quiet when settled, but when I'm around, she would want all of my attention and beg for more. Recently she'd even whine for my partner to greet her everytime he come home from work.

Angel has always been there since she was born. She welcomes me home, she makes me feel like I'm never alone, she's always there whenever I needed her. She enjoys doing her little tap dance to the door for treats, food and walks. She loves her orange ball and when she fetches it, she's so energetic. She'll touch no other toy.

Above all, Angel is a companion who has proven she deserves her name.

Angel has a pneumothorax from a collapsed lung and multiple fractured ribs. She usually goes to Friendly Animal Hospital, but they said they can't treat this. On top of that, only one vet clinic in our county seems to be able to perform thoracocentesis. We need to have her hospitalized for multiple nights and given a thoracocentesis, and may need surgery or a splint for her ribs.

We can't afford due to sudden hardships and my partner got fired, and I am deaf and cannot work. My dad wont be here much longer to help.
I can't do this without Angel. Seeing her better would mean the world to me. It means my partner can focus on work. It means a new start.
