We adopted Anna Maria at the end of Dec 2024. I saw her a Pet Smart and fell in love with her. Anna Maria lives with my husband and I along with our 5 other cats. 5 out of 6 cats have medical needs and we have a big heart for the cats that not everyone would take in.

When we adopted Anna Maria, she recently had her left eye removed, so she only has one eye. We noticed within the first few weeks of having her that her breath smelled like death. We took her to the vet and found out that she had an infection in her gums and a grade 3 heart murmur. The vets have said she will need dental work done on her teeth to keep her from getting a worse infection.

Anna Maria was very shy when we first adopted her. When we took her to the vet to get antibiotics started to help get the infection down and help with the pain she has opened up. She is very loving! She sleeps with us in bed every night like the other cats. She does these cute little meows when she sees us. She is also VERY playful! Any toy she sees, she will play with it.

Having 5 out of 6 cats with medical needs has strained our expenses. We want to make sure that Anna Maria gets that care she needs so that she is no longer in pain in her mouth and can live a happy long life.
