This sweet little girl was found wandering the streets alone before she was brought to the overcrowded Palmdale County Animal Shelter in Southern California. Life as a stray had already taken its toll, but it quickly became clear that Annabelle was fighting for much more than a second chance—she was fighting for her life.

When Bichon Rescue Brigade stepped in to save her, Annabelle was extremely sick. She was diagnosed with pneumonia, making every breath a struggle. She immediately required extensive veterinary care, including bloodwork, X-rays, IV antibiotics, medications, and ongoing treatment to stabilize her condition and give her body a chance to heal.
