Annie is a 11-year-old Mastiff in Centralia, WA, who needs $2,000 for Splenectomy.

Annie has been in our little family for 8 years now and has been a constant companion through many life struggles and challenges. She is a survivor of the Rocky Fire in Lake County in 2015 as well as a house Fire in Galveston in 2018.

Annie's happy place is lounging in a warm patch of sun on the porch, but she also loves camping, the beach, hiking, and meeting new people. When she sees her favorite people she does a little happy dance and happy whines as her tail wags.

Annie is not a toy dog, she really prefers just being around people and being a quiet, constant companion. She will however choose the nest dog bed available and claim it!

Annie was seen for an emergency at BluePearl Pet Hospital Lakewood on the morning of December 28th. She woke early in the morning and was painful, had pale gums, and refused to eat her breakfast. They quickly ruled out bloat but found that her spleen was enlarged and had a 9-10cm mass that had ruptured and was causing her to bleed internally. She received splenectomy surgery and intensive care.

We are a single income family, divorced, and with my own health issues so funds are often limited month to month. Our other household dog Georgia had an emergency earlier this year with a cervical spine injury that required MRI and intensive care.
