About this campaign
In a heartwarming chapter of my life, I ventured into the SPCA with the intention of finding a furry companion to bring joy and warmth to my home. Little did I know that fate had an enchanting surprise in store for me. Among the many hopeful faces, a trio of ragdoll cats captured my heart instantly. Their bond was so undeniable that I simply couldn't bear to break it.
In this remarkable feline family, Mr. Tibbers assumed the role of the caring uncle, while the inseparable duo of Shadow and Annie held a sibling connection that melted my heart. It's been a beautiful journey of eight years since that serendipitous day. Back then, Shadow and Annie were just one year old, while Mr. Tibbers had reached the age of two. They make my life joyous!
A compassionate volunteer at the shelter shared their story with me. Circumstances had led him to make the difficult decision to put this lovable trio up for adoption. His wife, bravely battling cancer, couldn't have the cats around. In the face of this heartrending situation, I made the choice to embrace these three wonderful souls, prioritizing their companionship over the allure of kittens.
Recently, we noticed a small lump on Annie's body, which our veterinarian diagnosed as a tumor that requires a Laser Lumpectomy. This procedure is essential to ensure that Annie remains healthy and happy for years to come. I am reaching out to our community for help, as the estimated cost of Annie's procedure is $1952.
Living on a fixed income and disabled due to a stroke. I face unexpected challenges. Annie's unforeseen surgery strained my finances; no emergency funds exist. Her health is my priority - seeing her vibrant and pain-free would restore immense joy to our lives.
