Poor Anthony was left behind when his caregiver moved away.

When Truly All Cats Trapping and Rescue heard about this kind-eyed boy with the cutest ears, they had to save him, or he would starve out on his own.

"He has become such a mush. He loves people and his best friend, Brooklyn," Amanda G., with the rescue, tells Waggle.

Recently Anthony started hissing at his food! Turns out his teeth were causing him terrible pain. Anthony must have decided it was his food's fault!

"Anthony was diagnosed with stomatitis, a severe condition that causes inflammation and sores in his mouth," Amanda says.

Now this poor cat needs surgery with a dental specialist. The procedure will cost thousands of dollars -- but it will ease his pain so he can have a happy life in the future -- where he doesn't get mad at his food!
