Help Apex get an exam, meds, and diagnostics — Hernando, MS

This infection currently has been going on for quite a while because I cannot afford to take him to the doctor at this time. My car was just in the shop for almost a month due to a safety recall and I’m behind more than I have been in a very long time. I wish someone would help me or Help Apex . We have tried everything. Me and my son adopted him from the Nesbit animal shelter almost 4 years ago.

Apex deals with skin infection flareups every few months since living in Mississippi. He goes to the vet nonstop and that’s very costly so I’m unable to pay for the diagnostic and get to the bottom of the issue because of these frequent trips. I love this dog. I’m starting to feel like I’m unable to give him the care he needs so I have to figure this out. This is my bestie.

Apex is super smart. Apex is super loyal. He can do all commands, sit, stay, rollover, and we taught him how to play dead when you fire a finger gun at him. He’s love to go for rides and literally goes everywhere he’s allowed to go with me. If we could get the skin under control he’s a beautiful dog.

I’m a single mother with a teenage son. I live on my own and I pay for rent, water, utilities, Internet, everything to do with the teenager on top of myself which usually comes last. I can’t afford to get him to the vet and medicine currently. It’s heartbreaking
